Abstract

Assessment for Learning (AfL) transforms student evaluation from a measure of achievement into a continuous process that enhances learning through formative assessment, timely feedback, self-regulation, and reflective practice. By integrating technology and learner-centered assessment strategies, AfL promotes deeper understanding, engagement, and educational equity while supporting the development of lifelong learning competencies. Effective implementation requires assessment-literate educators, institutional support, and a culture that values growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
