Abstract

Teacher migration has emerged as a critical challenge to educational sustainability, driven by economic disparities, limited professional opportunities, and increasing global demand for qualified educators. While teacher mobility offers individual career advancement, it also contributes to educator shortages, weakened institutional capacity, and declining educational quality in source countries. Transformative leadership that prioritizes teacher retention, professional development, and international collaboration is essential to building resilient and sustainable education systems.
