This essay examines the detrimental effects of classroom overcrowding on teaching quality, student learning, and overall educational outcomes. While increasing access to education is commendable, the paper argues that it must not come at the expense of learning quality. Overcrowded classrooms reduce individual attention, strain physical resources, and wear down both students and teachers, often leading to burnout and disengagement. The author advocates for urgent, systemic reforms that prioritize not just quantity, but the quality and humanity of the educational experience.
