Abstract

This study examines the multifaceted challenges faced by BSIE-Home Economics graduates in the Philippines in passing the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET). Despite the evolution of teacher education programs, many legacy graduates remain unlicensed due to outdated curriculum alignment, limited access to review programs, psychological impacts of repeated failure, and shifting life circumstances. The findings highlight the need for targeted support and inclusive interventions to address systemic, emotional, and socioeconomic barriers, ensuring these graduates receive a second chance to fulfill their teaching aspirations.
