Abstract

Teaching science to 21st-century learners in the Philippines requires moving beyond content delivery toward fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world problem solving. Addressing diverse learner needs, integrating technology, contextualizing lessons to local issues, and promoting inclusive and student-centered approaches are essential. Empowering educators through professional development and overcoming resource limitations remain key challenges to ensure scientific literacy and relevance in a rapidly evolving educational landscape.
